Stories from Our Pantries

For the past five years, we’ve worked to support our eight pantries in the Central Massachusetts area. Our efforts have helped countless families find stability in their homes.
Below are some stories from our pantries.

The Juniper Outreach School Pantry has been a game-changer for our school community, especially for our most underprivileged students. Not only do they have access to culturally relevant food, but they also get the experience of “shopping” and preparing meals for their families—something that fills them with pride. The pantry also provides basic hygiene products, which are a huge help for families who may struggle to afford them. A big thank you to Juniper Outreach for giving our students the opportunity to support their loved ones in such a meaningful way!

Maria Dottin

Wraparound Coordinator, South High School

It is easy to take basic necessities, like food and clothing, for granted. We recognize that there are many students and families in need, and having a resource like a Juniper Pantry available provides some relief and continuity for the DMHS community. What I’ve come to appreciate is that the need is greater than most realize.

Principal, Doherty Memorial High School

Juniper’s pantry has been a wonderful support for our students, providing them with meals and snacks that help them stay focused and energized throughout the school day. It’s made a big difference in ensuring they have what they need to succeed.
