Volunteering with The Juniper Foundation has been very rewarding. The smiles on the faces of the children using the pantry just proves the impact that Juniper is having in the community.
Helping Juniper supply food to the pantries and restock the empty shelves is a humbling and gratifying experience. Having the opportunity to volunteer at Elm Park and interact with the students is extremely rewarding. Seeing the kids smiling faces and knowing they are picking out food to bring home to their families makes me feel proud to be part of Juniper and the impact that it has in the lives of these families.
Volunteering with Juniper is a humbling reminder that a simple meal and smile can bring so much joy and hope to these children. When you look at their grateful smiles you can’t help but feel joy come back to you.
